Product Description Modern technology and traditional watchmaking craftsmanship come together in the Pathfinder TI. Thanks to St. Moritz' Blackout Superluminous technology, the easy to read dial remains clearly legible in the dark for up to 8 hours with no button pushing..

| Customer Reviews: Wrong product description! December 28, 2009 G. Schmidt I received a watch with YELLOW dial color which looks really ugly. My wife was not happy with that Christmas present.
My wife loves it September 28, 2009 Randall P. Hansen (Tucson AZ) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
It is everything I expected with the exception that the luminous face was disappointing.
It is hard to read late at night .
A very nice watch in a mid-level price January 24, 2009 dave (New York, NY) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this watch for my wife about a year ago. She wears it everyday and reports that the watch is both comfortable, durable, and reliable. She is a school teacher, and as such she wanted something that would survive an elementary classroom but would also look nice.
A nice feature of this watch is that it has an alarm, a rare feature on an analog watch.
I high recommend this watch, as well as other watches made by St. Moritz.
Needs some work November 25, 2008 Dana Dopleach 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
I wanted a watch with the following features:
1. Women's sized analog watch
2. Alarm
3. Night light
Appearance: Women's size: I had a hard time finding a watch that seemed to have all of these features, and this one was the closest I could find! There were a couple in men's sizes, but I have small wrists. The size is fine and all except the green tinge of the "glow in the dark" face make it a good looking watch in my opinion. The Titanium shell, makes it appreciatively light to wear.
Alarm (useless): I really wanted the alarm so I didn't have to watch it all the time before events and could use it in the morning if needed. However, the alarm is so easily accidentally switched off that it only went off 1 out of the 4 times I used it, and thus can't be trusted. It is also difficult to set. To set the alarm you have to unscrew the setting knob, then judge which of four outward clicks is the correct one to set the alarm, then remember whether to turn it clockwise or anti-clockwise, as one direction sets the alarm and the other changes the time. However, even if turned the correct direction it only works some of the time, making it difficult to know if you are in the correct section or not until finally something jumps to action mid spin. Difficult to explain here, and even more difficult to use with or without the manual in front of you.
Night light (useless): I had been told by a sales person unconnected to this sale that there had been great advances in the technology of glow in the dark materials, so this wasn't going to be the issue it was 20 years ago. However, it is exactly as I remembered, easily seens for about 10 minutes after bright light - good for seeing it on the bus in the dark tunnel on a sunny day. After about ten minutes it gets too dim to make out the difference between the different hands - and with the alarm hand being the same length of blackness as the hour hand, and the secondhand being dim but similar to the minute hand in length it is very confusing in the middle of the night with four similar hands to try to make out, the only real way to do it is to shine a light on it, then look at it, which completely defeats the purpose.
Keeping time (ok): It does keep fairly good time, loosing only about a minute a week or so. I don't know if this is normal for momentum watches or not. I keep it five minutes ahead of real time, and then when I notice it says the same time as my other clocks, I move it ahead again - now that I don't use the alarm I don't mind so much when I get the wrong setting. Oddly enough, I'm not concerned about this, as I'm happy knowing it isn't a battery running low, so it will consistently lose the same amount of time every week.
So... I wouldn't recommend this watch as it is, but it could be easily made into something much better - this is the reason I bothered to write the review. It is the one watch on the market that actually tries to give women a functional and good looking watch.
Here are my suggestions for improvement (as a watch user, not maker):
1. Combine the alarm setting and on-off buttons to make it easy to use and not part of the watch setting area.
2. Change the on-off function of the alarm to something less easily bumped and turned off, such as turning instead of pushing/pulling.
3. Add an actual light, thus making it readable at night and removing the cheap looking green tinge to the face during the day.
4. Change the alarm hand to another color to avoid confusion with the time hands, and make it translucent so the light shines through it when using the night light.
5. Keep the titanium - it is wonderfully light. Keep the watch band choice - I like the leather option. The logo has been changed enough to no longer be confused with the hands at 12/noon as was mentioned for earlier models with a more solid black logo. Keep the date - this isn't something I was looking for, but is something I now use daily.
I hope this review helps someone somewhere.
Not really worth the money January 12, 2008 S. Armstrong 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
Although it tells time well enough, and has features I want like luminous hands and date, I think this watch is overpriced and poorly designed. It has several annoying features, such as its thickness, almost 10mm. The hands are very skinny, and for some reason there is a triangle at 12 o'clock which I always mistake for the minute hand at first glance. The second hand is black which makes it hard to follow if you are timing something. I am looking for another watch, probably a Swiss Army or a Skagen, both at half the price or less.
