I love the SportBand! July 15, 2010 Meghan New Since getting the Nike + SportBand I've worn it on every one of my runs. After calibration it's been reliably accurate, and provides me with all the feedback I need. I love how simple the interface on the band is (only two buttons! one for starting/pausing/stopping the run, one for cycling through the feedback statistics) and I've been loving knowing just how far and fast I'm running.
Did not send all of the equipment July 9, 2010 Anonymous I did not receive all of the components of the Sportsband - so I had to reach out to the seller to get the clip - I still have not received the clip yet - a little frustrating
Nice tool for running for a decent price July 3, 2010 David Kwong 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this for my wife and it took a few times of calibration to get it to be fairly accurate. We went on a 4-mile run - I wore my Garmin Forerunner and she wore her NikePlus watch and as soon as we finished the run, we both stopped our watches. We used this to calibrate the watch and ever since then, her watch has been pretty accurate. I like Nike's software too. Easy to install, easy to find your way around but why can't I minimize the application window when the unit is plugged into my computer? How annoying! So if you're charging the unit, you'll see the Nike utility on your desktop the entire time with no way of getting rid of it until you disconnect the unit from the PC. Just a small gripe. I also bought her a shoe pouch for the foot pod since she wears ASICS. Seems to work fine.
nike sport band June 26, 2010 A. W. Herman (Enfield NH) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great idea. Only one problem viz. Nike+ Sport Band it doesn't work. Golfing friend had identical problem. We both returned them.
Unfortunate for Mac Users June 15, 2010 ebeth I have tried and tried and tried to get my computer to "see" the band. At first, I could see it on my desktop but just not able to upload my runs to the Nike website. Now, it needs re-charging and I can't get my Mac G5 to read the band at all. Best if you do this with a PC.
