Product Description It's called the Bicycle "TRAGIC ROYALTY" deck and as you can see, it bears little resemblance to any previous Bicycle deck.
The cards were printed with a gray background, and the suits are stylized just a little. The Rider Backs also are different, printed in gray, red and black.
But what makes the deck truly unique are the court cards, with faces that are ghoulish and goofy...hence the name, "Tragic Royalty." AND THEY GLOW UNDER BLACK LIGHT! Magicians will LOVE the opportunities this offers for their shows.
The decks are top quality Bicycle, fresh and wrapped in cellophane.

Awesome! September 2, 2010 Joe Well, they're just cards right? I like the design, and they shipped to me undamaged. I've been playing poker with them for a while, and they have not become shoddy. Another downside is that they're a little bit slippery when you try to grip them, but at least they don't stick together like another review says.
just for show July 25, 2010 Hugo Becerra Rodriguez (Cd. Victoria, Tamaulipas Mexico) these cards have very good art style but they are not for magic, you may play poker with them but they're not very good for that neither, mine smelled weird, and smell is not gone even a year later.
Interesting idea June 12, 2010 kuranese I'll start with the aesthetic value of the deck. At first glance I thought it was a little on the ugly side, but it grew on me. Upon closer inspection (especially so with the court cards), the artwork itself is rather nice. It makes the court cards stand out a bit more. Very original IMO. I have to admit, I'm more than a little bored with just about every deck using almost identical art for the court cards. This is a nice change.
A word on quality... The stock seems a little on the thin side, and the deck has a smooth finish. So, they may be good for card games, or display. I imagine they would also be decent for some magic tricks, but I wouldn't use them for card manipulation, but that's just based on my preferences.
Bottom line? It is a nice looking deck, and perhaps an interesting/fun alternative to standard poker cards. So, despite minor drawbacks, this is still a four star product in my opinion.
Good Looking Cards (That's about the entire list of positives) May 24, 2010 Sahil Kambhampaty (Dallas, TX USoA) These cards look awesome, especially under a black light, but that's about it. I use cards mainly for magic and within a week these cards were already clumping. Forget doing fans, even doing a ribbon spread was impossible. It felt like there was clay rubbed between each card and they were sticking together. The stock is also thinner, which is good for double lifts and things, but the thickness of normal bikes is the perfect balance between ability to perform tricks and durability. The thinness of the stock sacrifices strength and longevity of the cards too much. The cards are so sticky that even shuffling is almost impossible. If you collect cards, these are fine, but for playing and magic, these are a disappointment. If these cards didn't look so cool, they would've gotten one star.
Awesome Cards May 9, 2010 Christian Martinez (Chicago,Illinois) These cards are unlike any others, except maybe Guardian cards. Those are also badass. These cards are very durable, it is almost as if they are made out of steel. The design is also very gothic, with sometimes funny designs for the Kings,Queens, and Jacks. Definently worth the 5 bucks.
